_We are looking for an accounting apprentice to become a valued member of our team, working alongside our trained accountants to complete tasks and work towards your AAT qualification_
- You will be working towards your L2 Accounts/Finance Assistant apprenticeship by assisting in a range of duties relevant to your studies. You will also be set aside time to complete your learning including your one day a week at college._
- Duties include:_
- _Bookeeping, preparation of VAT and CIS tax returns_
- _Preparation of income and expenditure_
- _Payroll_
- _Supporting the rest of the team in a range of tasks_
- _Basic I.T duties inc. Word, Excel, Office_
- _Basic administration inc. photocopying, spreadsheets, filing paperwork_
- Job role includes:_
- _Maintaining high standard of attendance, punctuality and personal appearance_
- _Seeking out challenges or new responsibilities showing flexibility when priorities change_
- _Ensuring that all duties are undertaken with a high level of accuracy and care in total compliance with instruction given to maximise efficiency_
- _Dealing with customers by means of telephone and electronic means as well as face to face with visitors in a professional manner_
- _When working towards goals, show initiative, commitment and perseverance_
- _Organise time and resources, prioritising actions which considers work related demands_
- _Discussing issues of concern, seeking advice and support when needed_

**Job Type**: Apprenticeship

**Salary**: £12,506.00 per year
