**The Vacancy**

**About the role and the team**

As **Support Worker**, you will be responsibility for supporting our residents to achieve independence; so that they can move from emergency accommodation to their own independent accommodation.

You will manage a caseload of clients, addressing their physical, emotional, social and behavioural needs; supporting them to progress towards independence.

You will support our programme of meaningful activity by running group sessions and activities within the accommodation to support residents’ individual development and social engagement.

Please note that upon appointment, your job title will shall be **Progression Coach**.

**About you**:
You will have excellent communication skills and be committed to the values and ethos of Depaul UK.
- Experience of working with people or those who have experienced homelessness.
- An understanding of the needs of people who have experienced homelessness, poor mental health, substance misuse
- A knowledge and understanding of Risk Assessments and Support Planning.
- Good literacy, numeracy and IT skills
- Able to demonstrate clear understanding of safeguarding requirements and procedures
