We are currently recruiting for two highly motivated and committed individuals to join our Recovery Service as part of the integrated Drug and Alcohol Treatment and Recovery Service.

As Senior Peer Mentor Coordinator you will be responsible for recruiting, training and supervising a team of Peer Mentor volunteers with lived experiences of substance use recovery, mental health, homelessness and the criminal justice system. Building relationships with partner organisations in the boroughs of Camden and Islington, you will be responsible for developing joint working practices and seeking out opportunities for Peer Mentors to support clients in an impactful way.

Single Homeless Project (SHP) is one of London’s leading homelessness prevention charities and a dynamic and growing organisation changing over 10,000 lives every year across London - from supporting people in crisis, to helping them take the final steps towards independence and employment.

In this role, you will:

- Recruit, train and supervise a team of Peer Mentor volunteers
- Develop and deliver an accredited training programme to Peer Mentor volunteers
- Support Peer Mentor volunteers to maintain their own recovery and wellbeing with a focus on professional development
- Build effective partnerships across the boroughs of Camden and Islington and broker new opportunities for peer support

- A salary increase after successfully completing six month's probationary period
- A 37.5 hour working week including flexible working hours (core hours are 10am - 4pm) in non-accommodation services
