Technical Sales Engineer (Water)

Are you from a water or wastewater industry background and looking for an interesting, challenging role working for a market leading company who pride themselves on being the go to name in their industry?
Do you want a role where you will be following up on inbound enquiries and selling a top of the range product?
Having been established for nearly 20 years this company have established themselves as the market leader within their sector and are now part of a larger national group. Operating internationally they have seen consistent expansion and are now among the worldleaders. With an ever growing portfolio of clients and contracts, they have grown from strength to strength, and are continue to see ongoing year on year growth with extensive expansion plans moving forward. They are now looking for an additional TechnicalSales Engineer to join their growing team.
In this role you will be responsible for responding to enquiries, visiting potential customer sites to assess their requirements, define technical specifications and prepare quotations. You will be based from the office in Monmouth but will be required to travela few times a month. There will also be a requirement to represent the business at trade shows, exhibitions and events. Working on potentially complex water treatment projects you will be provided excellent technical support from the internal team but willmaintain the customer relationship.
This could be the perfect role for someone wanting to step out of the public sector and join a market leading business selling a leading solution.
The role:
*Based in South Wales with some requirement to travel
*Responding to enquiries, producing technical specs and quotations
*Conducting site visits to assess requirements
*Prospecting new business from potential customers
The person:
*Technical background in water processing or wastewater treatment
*Background in sales
*Full UK driving license
