We are looking for a passionate and inspiring Teaching Assistant - Level 1 to join our supportive and talented team at Winterstoke Hundred Academy. We are a diverse multi-academy trust, looking for professional and ambitious people, with a passion for transforming our students’ learning.

This role is offered on a Full Time, Term Time Only, Fixed Term Contract basis covering a period of maternity leave. We are expecting the current post holder to return in March 2024, but they may return sooner.

**What we are looking for**:
We are looking for a Teaching Assistant - Level 1, to assist in the educational, personal and social development of designated students under the direction and guidance of relevant colleagues (e.g. the Principal, SENCo and/or INCo, phase leaders and class teachers.) Support students by adopting relevant strategies and techniques to enable them to access the curriculum, engage with their learning and achieve their full potential. Takes responsibility for implementing planned learning activities/ teaching programmes as agreed with the teacher, adjusting activities according to students’ responses as appropriate. Deliver measurable impact on student attainment as well as social and emotional well-being. Works collaboratively with relevant colleagues to fulfil the requirements of the role.

**About the Academy & Cabot Learning Federation**

Currently we are small-scale provision with just years 7, 8, 9, 12 and 13. The development of the new building, which will open in October 2023, will see us nearing capacity as a split-site, medium-scale 11-19 academy. We celebrate the fact that, as a new provision, our culture, ethos and values are ours to define from the beginning, and we are able to decide what is important to take with us into the future as we grow.
