Our client is seeking a dedicated and proactive Receptionist. We are working with a well-respected enabler of high-quality healthcare services, with a legacy of over 25 years, they provide a comprehensive range of services to support various healthcare institutions. They are also breaking new ground in the digital health sphere, promising an exciting growth path for their team members.
As a Receptionist, you will play an integral role in providing administrative support, ensuring that patients are handled efficiently and effectively while preserving their dignity and confidentiality.
**Key responsibilities**:
- Managing the opening and closing of the healthcare centre, ensuring the facility is ready for use by clinicians and drivers.
- Ensure that the waiting area and consultation rooms are always clean and tidy.
- Promptly answering the telephone and recording patient information accurately on the computer system.
- Assisting in meeting the standards for patient care as defined by the Department of Health.
- Processing paperwork from calls correctly and in a timely fashion.
- Managing equipment and resources, such as ensuring the printer, photocopier, and fax machine are fully stocked and functioning correctly.
- Undertaking other duties as directed from time to time.
**Requirements**:
- Must maintain high standards in all dealings with managers, doctors, nurses, staff, and external personnel.
- Flexibility, including potential to work outside normal hours when necessary.
- The receptionist will have high levels of integrity with access to sensitive information which must remain confidential.
- Our client has a no-smoking policy on premises and grounds.
