Professional - Aruba WiFi Network Engineer
- Specialisation in Aruba WiFi Networks.

Possess a thorough understanding of LAN/WAN, cloud networking, and Aruba Wireless networking. Hands-on experience configuring, optimizing WiFi networks with knowledge of RF design and latest 802.11 standards. Demonstrated experience with access control technologiessuch as Cisco ISE and Aruba ClearPass. Ability to analyse data and performance metrics to improve reliability and resiliency of the wireless network. Demonstrated knowledge of controller-based &
controllerless enterprise wireless architectures, monitoring systems, and RADIUS infrastructure. 3 years of at least indirect experience with ancillary networking tools like TACACS+, RADIUS (Cisco ISE)

Mandatory Skills
- Aruba WiFi skills.
- Aruba Controllers deployment and maintenance skills.
- Cisco LAN / WAN - CCNA level experience.
- Experience working in a complex routing environment with exposure to OSPF / BGP / iBGP routing protocols.
- Technical documentation skills.
- Visual RF Ekahau survey post deployment surveys skills desirable.
- ClearPass and NAC skills desirable.
- PaloAlto Firewalls/Checkpoint firewalls desirable.
- Config and management of IPSec tunnels terminating on both Firewalls and routers desirable.

Essential Job Functions

Maintains data network hardware and systems; investigates and resolves network and hardware matters of significance; researches, analyses,

testing routines or scripts; may test various data equipment such as routers or switches. Implements, and maintains various networks such as LAN, WAN in accordance with specified requirements. Prepares data network diagrams and drawings to document and assistin communicating current operational status of networks. Performs data network configurations and configuration changes of various data equipment such as routers or switches. Prepares routine proposal documentation and information to meet customer requirements.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and

experience.

Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science,

management information systems, or related field preferred.

Five or more years of experience in data networks.

Three of more years of experience in Aruba WiFi networks.

Experience working with troubleshooting LAN systems and

technical infrastructure communication issues.

Experience working with current network systems and

networking principles, data, or video.
