**Assistant Recruitment Advisor**:
Our HR team is looking for a proactive and ambitious recruitment professional to join our growing team in Peterborough. We are looking for an individual who is ready to progress as a Recruitment Coordinator or Assistant Recruitment Advisor and take on a new varied and busy role with us. You will have ideally gained in-house recruitment experience, managing the full recruitment process and have a successful track record of sourcing talent through different methods. In addition we are looking for someone who is looking to be part of a hardworking and fun team, with a proactive work ethic

We offer flexible working arrangements and a competitive salary package. The role will ideally be based in our Peterborough office with remote working available, although we are also open to other Carter Jonas office locations.

**MAIN TASKS**

The role will take a focus on three main areas; Recruitment, Early Careers and Strategy. Below is an overview of some of the main responsibilities expected (a full job description is available on request):
Recruitment
- Responsible for the recruitment process across our divisions including Residential and Rural
- Advise hiring managers on the recruitment process to ensure best practice
- Attend Divisional and adhoc team meetings to update and advise on recruitment, providing data and statistics as and when requested
- Work towards the Recruitment and 2025 People Strategy’s KPI’s
- Work with the Recruitment Advisors on ad-hoc recruitment campaigns
- Tracking & liaising with the recruitment manager to support the development of talent pipelines
- Use LinkedIn Recruiter tool to maximise direct sourcing and educate hiring managers with utilising their LinkedIn networks to attract talent.
- Ensure requests to recruit are processed correctly and approvals are in place before interviews conducted

Early Careers
- Assist in managing the graduate recruitment process and strategy with support from the team, utilising relevant attraction methods coordinating responses and tracking for Graduate recruitment in a timely and effective manner
- Organise, facilitate and attend assessment centres, across UK.
- Attend and conduct skills presentations with universities where possible to develop relationships further and generate more on campus awareness of graduate opportunities;
- Support with updates of graduate marketing materials
- Organise & attend careers fairs and events across universities (and schools)
- Support the school ambassador network - promote internally, manage list of ambassadors and support the group with their activity

Strategy
- Assist the Recruitment Manager with EDI reports and initiatives
- Support the implementation of recruitment strategies with line managers including platforms to advertise with, drafting adverts and conducting campaigns through LinkedIn for attraction
- Liaise with marketing and advise on promotional campaigns including Ceros pages, internal marketing etc
- Support the Recruitment Manager with generating and implementing new initiatives for increasing the firm’s employer brand

**WHAT DOES IT TAKE TO BE SUCCESSFUL?**

The successful recruitment professional will have ideally gained experience in an in-house environment and will have a strong knowledge of recruitment cycles. They will be proactive in bringing new ideas to the team and use their initiative to attract new talent for challenging roles. This is a busy role therefore it is important that they can prioritise workloads and communicate effectively both internally and externally. They will be a team player, who will contribute and support the HR team with exciting projects and ideas Finally, it is desirable that this recruitment professional has level 3 CIPD or interested in working towards this in the future.
