**Our client in Chelsea is looking for an experienced housekeeper to start ASAP and work in a team**

Duties will involve:

- Washing, ironing and laundry; including handling delicate, luxury & couture clothing.
- Arrange for dry-cleaning when appropriate. You may be asked to manage the principal’s wardrobes.
- Managing the Dry-Cleaning following the checked-in/out procedure (see dry-cleaning manual)
- Managing principal’s wardrobes, keeping on top of the organisation
- Watering the house plants, and caring for cut flowers once they’ve been brought in.
- Carrying out weekly grocery shopping - online and in store
- Dealing with tradesmen, suppliers, and contractors when come into work
- Walking and caring for the family pet
- Serving the family at mealtimes and events
- Maintaining and cleaning furniture and fixtures
- Cleaning and sanitising toilets, showers/bathtubs, countertops, and sinks
- Making beds and changing linens
- Cleaning of windows and frames inside
- Sweeping/vacuuming, polishing, and mopping hard floors with boiling hot water
- Polishing family silver
- Emptying waste/recycling daily - cleaning of all bins
- Monitoring cleaning supplies and ordering more as required
- Reporting any necessary repairs or replacements
- Greeting guests, offering refreshments including table set up ahead of meetings
- Running errands for the principal of the house
- Managing the high volume of incoming deliveries
- Greeting and managing all contractors on site
- Booking maintenance contractors where required.
- Occasional service or breakfast preparation
- Occasional travel optional
- Occasional dog walk around the block (Cavapoo)

**Weekly duties**
- Deep clean playroom
- Deep clean gym equipment
- Deep clean stairs in the courtyard and garage
- Clean front doors
- Deep clean roof terrace
- Deep clean commercial kitchen including cupboards etc
- Deep clean family kitchen including cupboards
- Wardrobe maintenance
- Deep clean all equipment including - washing machine, dishwasher, hoovers, and filters.
- Polish silver and glassware (inventory check)
- Deep clean fridge
- Clean ovens
- High-level dusting

**Role: Live-out Housekeeper**
**Location: Chelsea, SW3**
**Salary: £45,000 gross per annum**
**Start Date: ASAP**
**Working days/Hours: Monday to Friday (shift pattern with 2 other housekeepers, 8 hours per day) + working 2 weekends per month (days off to be given during the week)**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £45,000.00 per year

- Weekend availability

- Chelsea, Greater London: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- housekeeping: 5 years (preferred)
- private household: 3 years (preferred)
