At a glance, the Senior Internal Communications Executive will be tasked with informing and engaging employees at all levels of the division, as well as gathering feedback and sentiment to help inform and advise key stakeholders and leadership. This hybridworking role offers a balance of ownership and autonomy with the opportunity to get involved in broader initiatives and campaigns.
- **Key Responsibilities**
- To work with the Business Partner on the implementation of internal communications and engagement activities, including shaping, planning, production and execution.
- Proactive generation of news and content for the client’s channels (write, build, send etc.) and maintain regular contact with key sources throughout the division.
- Support the Business Partner in launching and embedding the client’s Three Year plan in line with their global purpose and values.
- Play a pivotal role in embedding internal communications best practice. Support the wider Internal Comms team to improve existing means of communication as well as develop new innovative ways to effectively engage the client’s internal audience.
- Project management: take briefs, write creative briefs and copy, work with internal creative team and external agencies where applicable and manage project plans.
- Reporting: Monitor and track activity through monthly and campaign-based reports, and undertake staff calls, panels and surveys to gather qualitative feedback.
- Stakeholder management: Build strong relationships across the business.
- Promote the internal communications function within the business, help staff to become better communicators and make better use of existing communication channels.
- **Key Requirements**
- Between two to four years internal communications experience in an agency or in-house environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong attention to detail.
- Have demonstratable experience of delivering effective communications campaigns.
- Great networking and advocacy skills; able to build relationships with stakeholders both internally and externally.
- Excellent organisational skills; comfortable with multi-tasking and working on multiple conflicting deadlines in a fast-paced environment while maintaining excellent attention to detail.
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office software, experience in using an e-marketing platform (e.g. Salesforce or Dotdigital) and basic knowledge of creating surveys.
- Confident, articulate, reliable and co-operative.
- Strong sense of creativity and an eye for design.
