The IT assistant role is a varied role including supporting end users, network administration, supporting, managing, and maintaining hardware and software (workstations, printers, laptops), deploying hardware updates. Office 365 is used within the business, so you will be involved in the administration of user accounts too. As a valued member of the IT team, you will be involved in wider projects working alongside team members from other areas of the business.

**The role of the IT Assistant**
- Provide technical Support for hardware and software issues including troubleshooting
- Supporting VOIP Telephone System
- Recommend and complete the purchasing and maintenance of IT equipment
- Maintaining various IT related records, ensure all is kept up to date
- Identify, understand, and provide solutions to operational issues
- Ensures IT and database issues are identified, tracked, reported on and resolved in a timely manner.
- Ensuring the security of IT infrastructure via security software
- Administrate the network infrastructure
- Building and configuring workstations and laptops
- Working within Office 365 tenant
- Keeping all sensitive data private and/or secure
- Part of the Managed Print Solution (MPS) deployment team - configuring and preparing printers for customers - attending site where required.

The starting salary for the IT Assistant is £22,000 but this can be increased dependant on skills and experience.
