They are looking for Payroll, Pension and Benefits Coordinator to join Human Resources team on a 12-month fixed term contract.
Location: home-based
Hours: Monday to Friday 09:00 - 17:30

Purpose of the role:
This role reports into the HR Business Partner for the organisation and forms part of Human Resources team dedicated to ensuring the growth of our organisation.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
Payroll
- Acting as first point of contact in payroll and dealing promptly with client/employee issues/concerns to satisfactory resolution.
- Work with the HR and Finance team administer HR processes and communications during a colleague's lifecycle, ensuring all payroll and colleague records are accurate and kept up to date, action related changes, and resolve queries.
- Verifying overtime and expenses with key stakeholders
- Liaise with HR team to resolve / escalate pay queries as appropriate to ensure prompt resolutions.
Pensions
- Understand how pension schemes work, including automatic enrolment
- Understand, explain and operate our pension scheme
- Promote pension scheme to our workforce

**Benefits**:

- Monthly reporting from payroll provider report and completing employee reconciliation to access benefits.
- Understanding benefits platform and managing any staff enquiries with entitlement / carryover issues
- Preparing for annual benefits window
- Benchmarking benefits in the market.
- Monitoring usage of benefits
- Payroll qualifications: Chartered Institute of Payroll Professionals (L3 minimum)
- Relevant Payroll/Finance qualification or equivalent experience in a similar role working with circa 500 employees.
- Exceptional Excel skills (producing/analysing statistical reports and produce Excel spreadsheet
- Confident in using Microsoft office packages and computerised HR/Payroll systems (experience in the HR system WORKDAY would be advantageous).
- Able to handle difficult conversations sensitively, whilst tailoring your response to your audience
- Motivated from the excellent service provided to leaders, line managers and employees
- The ability to identify and volunteer for new challenges without waiting to be given them.
- Experience of business transition to a new payroll system
- Proven experience of creating financial reports for both financial and nonfinancial people.
- Experience in DB pension schemes and pensions administration (DB, DC, LGPS, NEST)
