**Senior Software Engineering Leader**

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Manage team of 100s of Development Managers, Developers and Testers to deliver leading edge, complex, mission critical software
- Deliver a market-leading product into many of the world’s leading airlines
- Be responsible for your product. You will be representing the development aspects of the product to the CTO, Senior Product Management and Global Sales. They will expect you to be a contributor, not an order-taker.
- Use your deep and long-seated Agile knowledge to ensure that Agile methodologies are used throughout your team. If Agile is the only methodology you know - that’s perfect.

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Industry experience working as hands-on engineering manager, managing a team of engineers, development managers, QA
- Hands-on Experience in technologies like Java, Spring and any RDBMS.
- Understanding of various modern technologies like ReactJS, Angular, Springboot, Docker, NoSQL, etc
- Driving continuous improvement and technical excellence in engineering for highest quality and productivity
- Very strong experience leading team in Agile culture & Clean Code
- Experience in Architectures like Microservice & SOA, Cloud, AWS, Serverless, CI/CD, SPA etc.
- Experience handling a team size of 100 or more
- Exceptional in leadership and empathy skills.
- Ability to drive change and initiatives and succeed under uncertainty
- Expertise in building great engineering teams and engaging with 3rd party vendors

**Skills & Experience**
- At least 10 years experience in Development Management
- Very deep Agile background and mindset. At least 10 years working in Agile environments.
- SAFE experience a bonus
- Aviation industry experience a bonus
