**Position**:
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Maintain and Produce the weekly payroll through Sage 50 for approximately 260 weekly staff, and Monthly Payroll for approximately 80 Monthly staff.
- Responsible for collating all information in relation to pay runs, time sheets, amendment sheets, premium payment sheet, holidays, wage queries.
- Work with the businesses HRIS System processing absence.
- Have a good knowledge of reporting and extracting data to process through the payroll system.
- Work with the T&A system to extract hours and input them into the payroll system.
- Process returns to HMRC, Pension Company, Payroll Orders and any other payroll related matters.
- Ensure that all employee records are stored confidentially according to Data Protection Laws.
- Responsible for new starters and leavers
- To provide cover for the Accounts Department ( Purchase Ledger )
- To observe and abide by the company’s Health & Safety and Quality policies

**Requirements**:
**Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities**
- Sage 50 or other payroll systems
- HRIS system
- T & A System knowledge and reporting
- 3 - 5 years payroll experience
- Good excel Skills including vlookup and macros
- Good attention to detail
- HMRC payroll laws

6 months fixed term contract

Working hours monday to friday 8am - 4 pm

Salary £25,000 per annum (pro rata for duration of contract)

28 days holiday including bank holidays (pro rata for duration of contract)
