Job Summary:
**Duties**:
- Support the classroom teacher in delivering engaging lessons and activities
- Provide one-to-one tutoring and mentoring for students with special educational needs, including autism
- Assist in the implementation of individual education plans (IEPs) and behaviour management strategies
- Help students to develop social skills and promote positive interactions
- Support the teacher in preparing materials and resources for lessons
- Communicate effectively with students, teachers, and parents to ensure progress is monitored and shared
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with children, particularly in special education settings
- Ability to educate and engage students effectively
- Strong communication skills to interact with students, teachers, and parents
- Passion for supporting the learning and development of all students
- Relevant qualifications in education or special educational needs would be advantageous
