This work will ensure that there is a future workforce that has the skills and knowledge to provide high quality care to the local populations within Kent and Medway.

As this role evolves and the CLIP model becomes sustainable, the post holder will continue to support additional Placement Expansion initiatives as these arise.
- Educate and coach teams on the delivery of CLIP
- Work collaboratively with teams and services
- Work alongside Mentors and Students within clinical practice
- Coordination of implementation including resources
- Facilitate learning activities in the practice setting
- Identify and establishing new placement expansion opportunities

- Support practice educators and assessors to implement the CLIP model in their practice are
- Be part of a team responsible for pre-registration nursing and AHP placement capacity and quality of placement areas to provide appropriate learning outcomes for students. Liaising with other health professions leads to ensure equity
- Develop resources for use on placements across the trust as part of the CLIP model
- i.e. project packs, virtual learning pack
- Act as an expert resource in relation to coaching and learning in practice
- Be innovative in supporting teams and students to problem solve to overcome barriers in the practice placement settings. This includes supporting the Practice Educator or Assessor with a failing student
- Develop placement areas incorporating current research and innovations in practice, ensuring Professional standards for Pre-registration Education / Practice Education between Universities, Trust, Educator and students are met
- To ensure that Practice educators and Assessors are providing adequate supervision to students to maintain safety and high levels of care. Ensuring that the students are undergoing assessment in practice, and are adhering to the codes of conduct and standards of proficiency as per NMC and HCPC guidelines
- Collate, analyse, interpret and action plan student placement evaluations to inform capacity and quality of placements. Use evaluative placement data to inform decisions on suitable learning environments and in care delivery
- Act as an ambassador for the CLIP model and the PPF team in raising profile of the pre-registration placement process
- Lead promotion of the Collaborative Learning in Practice Model throughout the organisation by developing a communications plan with relevant colleagues
- To be an advocate for Placement Expansion projects.
