**The Role & Responsibilities**

Team lead within Enterprise for either Property or Business finance. The roles will cover all aspect of the CDD team including:

- Day to day management of teams
- MI capture
- Training and coaching
- Overview of the daily workflows
- 1-2-1’s
- Strong background of CDD and Financial crime operations with an understanding of policies and guidance including JMLSG, Financial Crime FCA Handbook and key legislation such as Money Laundering Regulations, POCA and Bribery Act
- Daily management of a team between 3 -7 people
- Completing staff’s monthly 1-2-1’s
- Overview and allocations of workflows and escalations within the team
- Review and complete case sign off rationales for approval
- Maintain a monthly MI reporting suite of all financial crime related matters
- Be the first point of escalation for alerts and cases referring to 1LoD advisory FC team when necessary
- Raise risk events completing referrals and helping to fix identified issues
- Providing guidance and input to team on financial crime matters, management practices and standards to ensure the Bank remains compliant
- Raise FC issues and risk Support regulatory engagement on specific financial crime issues and risks; and ensuring that relevant issues are brought to the attention of the relevant business areas
- To provide support & coaching to the teams in ensuring the necessary "Know your customer" and "Customer Due Diligence" is carried out on all clients
- Ensure that all relevant investigations are completed within timescales
- Undertaking relevant checks directly with clients, Central Financial Crime or Enforcement Agencies where appropriate

**The Person**
- Preferably hold an appropriate professional qualification (ideally an ICA Certificate in Financial Crime Prevention and/or Anti Money Laundering)
- Experience of team leadership or management in a financial crime operations team
- Ideally a minimum of 2-3 years CDD/KYC experience
- Excellent written and verbal language skills
- Complete 1-2-1’s and development plans
- Manage Daily workflows
- MI Production
