**Your Role**:

- Set up and operate CNC machines to produce precision components according to engineering drawings and specifications.
- Select and install appropriate cutting tools, fixtures, and machine accessories for each job.
- Program and edit CNC machine code to optimise production processes.
- Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as necessary to ensure quality and efficiency.
- Conduct routine maintenance on CNC machines and troubleshoot issues to minimise downtime.
- Perform in-process inspections and use measuring instruments to ensure parts meet quality standards.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to address design and manufacturing challenges.
- Maintain accurate records of production activities, including materials used and machine settings.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and procedures to create a secure working environment.

**You**:

- Proven experience as a CNC Machinist with a minimum of 2 years in precision machining.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and blueprints.
- Strong knowledge of CNC programming and the ability to edit programs as needed.
- Expertise in setting up and operating CNC milling and turning machines.
- Familiarity with a variety of materials, including metals and plastics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
