**Industrial Operations: Supply Chain & Logistics**

Supply Chain & Logistics sits within our new Industrial Operations function. Our Industrial Operations function incorporates all teams across manufacturing, purchasing and supply chain and consolidates accountability for the complete ecosystem of how we produce our vehicles, in one place.

The Supply Chain & Logistics function enables our customer-centric, end-to-end supply chain to operate effectively - delivering our current and next generation of modern luxury vehicles when and where we need them.

Producing the right things in the right places at the right times sounds simple. But co-ordinating the arrival of millions of parts from all over the world and getting our products to more than 140 markets requires exceptional skill. That’s why our graduate programme exists to develop a new generation of talent with the ability to deliver the sustainable, resilient and efficient global supply chains of the future.

**On the Industrial Operations**: Supply Chain Graduate Programme you could work in one of the following departments: Supply Chain Operations and Logistics or Commercial Supply Chain. You will be allocated to a department based on personal preferences and business need.

**Supply Chain Operations & Logistics Graduates**

Supply chain operations are at the core of what we do. From production planning to finished vehicle delivery, your ability to get the best performance from our suppliers and logistics providers will ensure our operations are optimised and proceed to plan. In this team you could work in the following areas:
**New Product & Launch**:
New vehicle and engine programmes are the future of the business. Building expertise in managing complex projects, you will define objectives, timing and budgets to take concepts from the desktop through to industrialisation. In this team you could work in the following areas:
**Supply Chain Planning**:
Supply chain planning plays a critical role in maximising Jaguar Land Rover’s new vehicle sales revenue. From capacity planning to vehicle scheduling, this team owns and orchestrates our Sales & Operations Execution (S&OE) and Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) processes.

At the end of the programme, the experience you gain will provide the springboard for a future career that could lead to roles in any of our supply chain teams. With ongoing support from experts at the pinnacle of their profession and the opportunity to gain new skills through varying placements, you’ll help to ensure that the chain delivers a category-defining collection of innovative vehicles that capture the imaginations of the world’s most discerning drivers.

**Supply Chain Strategy**:
The supply chain strategy team aims to create efficient, responsible and resilient end-to-end supply chain networks for the future. Working closely with cross-functional stakeholders, we examine critical value chains and commodities in depth against four key criteria: sustainability, risk and resilience, cost and lead-times. We also maintain centres of excellence for the first two criteria, which provide corporate leadership and educate and support key decision-makers across the business to reduce our environmental impact and supply chain exposure.
