We are currently seeking a skilled Supplier Quality Engineer to be a part of the team.

At Stannah we commit to delivering top-quality products to our customers. The Supplier Quality Engineer ensures that suppliers meet product requirements.

The Supplier Quality Engineer is the point of contact for supplier quality issues. They will work with Purchasing, Technical Support, Engineering, and Manufacturing. This will enable the engineer to investigate and resolve quality issues.

Skills in quality tools such as 8D, 5Y, SPC, APQP, PPAP, FMEA, etc., are essential.

You will conduct audits to ensure compliance with quality standards and procedures. We seek a quality engineer with problem-solving skills. The ability to address challenges and put in place effective solutions is essential.

Your ability to plan, prioritise, and organise workloads will be crucial. You must be capable of interpreting and reporting data and technical drawings. This might be in formal reports, presentations, and other relevant formats.

The Supplier Quality Engineer works on site in Andover, Hampshire. You will travel to non UK sites on occasion to meet the business needs.

**Responsibilities**:

- Act as a point of contact for supplier quality issues
- Ensure product requirements meet the required standards
- Assist Quality Control (QC) and Quality Assurance (QA) with supplier returns. This is for non-conforming product or parts
- Create corrective action plans to address process failures using an 8D methods
- Conduct supplier visits and audits (both UK and Non UK)
- Track supplier performance and improve supplier quality
- Investigate quality issues, customer feedback or complaints
- Take part in the Change Process
- Work with Engineering on New Product Introduction (NPI) processes
- Write, edit and issue quality documentation
- Provide concise, complete and accurate documentation of inspection results
- Conduct internal audits, non-conformances & Critical Issue 8D’s

**Requirements**:

- Proficient in quality tools such as: 8D, 5Y, SPC, APQP, PPAP, FMEA
- Six Sigma Green Belt or higher (desirable)
