We are seeking a skilled Fabric Engineer Apprentice to join our team in Hampshire, England. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing production equipment, ensuring maximum availability and reliability.
Key Responsibilities- Maintenance and repair of production equipment
- Ensuring equipment availability and reliability
- Carrying out machine inspections and maintaining records
- Complying with health and safety regulations
- Participating in equipment installation and commissioning
- Conducting routine preventative maintenance
- Liaising with external equipment suppliers
- Training and mentoring junior engineering staff
- Relevant engineering qualifications or mindset
- Foundational understanding of FMCG manufacturing processes
- Solid experience in equipment maintenance and repair
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and inquisitive nature
- Ability to work well in a team environment and communicate effectively
- Competitive salary range of around £40,500 - £49,500 per annum
- Work-life-balance with average start/end times of 8-4 PM
- Monday to Friday work schedule with no weekends, barring major breakdowns
