**Job Title**: Before school club assistant at Broomfield Primary School and relief after school club assistant

**Vacancy Hours**: 13.75 hours 3.15pm-6.00pm or 3.20pm-6.05pm.Term time only. This would be considered as a shared role splitting evenings if needed.

**Salary**: Grade CD SCP 3 £11.79 per hour, annual pro rata salary £6320.15

**Contract Type**:Term time only. Fixed term initially to end of summer term 2024.

**Closing date**: 9:00am Tuesday 6th February

**Interview date**:Friday 9th February

**Start Date**: Required to work from Monday 19th February 2024 or as soon after this date.

**The Role**:
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, committed and highly motivated person to join our school team. This will suit people with enthusiasm and energy for high quality childcare. This role involves providing a snack for our children as well as supervising and organising fun activities for our children. This would involve leading age-appropriate activities for a range of ages from Reception to Year 6 which will enthuse and engage the children whilst most importantly - having fun
- provide care for the children attending the before and after-school club.
- provide safe, creative, appropriate play opportunities, preparing/planning activities.
- Maintain accurate records as required, to include completion of accident book, register of child’s attendance, up to date emergency contact details.

Our school is committed to safeguarding children; this post will require an enhanced DBS check, online check and suitable references. Your motivation and suitability to work with children will be assessed at interview.
