Canteen Cook

**Responsibilities:

- **
- Prepare, cook, and serve a variety of home cooked meals and snacks,
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including equipment and kitchen surfaces
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations
- Participate in menu planning and recipe development
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed
- Maintain an inventory of food items and order supplies as required
- Follow company policies and procedures, including health and safety protocols

Qualifications:

- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Canteen Cook or in a similar role
- Excellent culinary skills and knowledge of cooking techniques
- Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation practices
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines efficiently
- Knowledge of food preparation equipment and utensils
- Valid Food Handler's Certificate

- Monday to Friday
