Cook (Tex Mex)

Are you passionate about Tex-Mex cuisine and delivering exceptional customer service?

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced individual who can specialise in Tex-Mex dishes to join our team in one of our many restaurants ‘Coasters’.

As a Tex-Mex, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes to delight our customers. Your creativity and passion for food will play a crucial role in ensuring an exceptional dining experience for our guests.

**Responsibilities**
- Prepare and cook a variety of Tex-Mex dishes, including tacos, burritos, enchiladas, and fajitas, according to our recipes and standards.
- Ensure all meals are prepared in a timely manner while maintaining high quality standards.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
- Assist in menu planning and suggest new dishes to enhance our offerings.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow health and safety regulations and guidelines.
- Monitor food stock levels and communicate with the kitchen manager to ensure adequate inventory.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a cook in a hospitality setting.
- Excellent knowledge of cooking techniques.
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and creativity in food presentation.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations in a kitchen environment
- Certification in culinary arts is preferred.
- Experience essential.

- Blackpool: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Kitchen experience: 1 year (preferred)
- Tex Mex: 1 year (preferred)
