You will provide a comprehensive Medical Secretarial Service to the Consultants and Clinical teams within the Trauma & Orthopaedic Dept at UHA.

Experience within a Medical Secretarial environment is essential and you should have a relevant secretarial qualification e.g. AMSPAR Diploma for Medical Secretaries, RSA or Scotvec qualification or equivalent experience. A working knowledge of the patient management system (Trakcare) and knowledge of medical terminology is advantageous as further training can be provided.

Primary duties will include, transcription of clinical correspondence using digital dictation and processing patient results appropriately and timeously.
