**Duties will include**:

- Manage the administration of school off-site visits, educational events and on-site sessions
- Prepare, manage and update risk assessments for visits
- Oversee post visit feedback process and collate monthly data for the School Management Team
- Organising schedules for volunteer minibus drivers and arranging minibus assessments and training
- Oversee weekly staffing and transport lists to ensure all ratios for visits are accurate
- Liaise with teachers to organise on-site educational workshops and visits and support with hosting events
- Co-ordinate timetables to allocating rooms and equipment for visits and events
- Maintain staff training records and highlight when refresher training is required
- Correspond with parents regarding educational visits and collate the responses and contributions
- For residential visits, ensure that the member of SMT on duty is provided with a pack containing all information needed for an emergency situation
- Support with daily pupil transitions, reception cover and break/lunch support in the absence of the FOH Administrator

**Knowledge & Skills**:

- Experience of providing excellent administrative support
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing across a wide range of audiences
- Have a logical manner, prioritising tasks and meeting deadlines
- Able to work in pressured and fast paced environments, remaining calm and professional
- Highly developed organisational skills with the ability to be pro-active and work with initiative
- Excellent customer service skills, with a pleasant and friendly approach
- Good team player and able to support those around you to get tasks completed
- Able to maintain confidentiality and keep accurate records and reports
- Experience of working in a school or care environment would be desirable but not essential

**Working Hours**

21 hours per week (09:00am - 4:30pm over 3 days)

School term times (over 3 terms)

**Salary**

£12880 per annum equivalent to £23,000 FTE
