**Salary**: M6 Higher rate for those with QTS - £32.61 per hour
UN5 Medium rate for those with relevant degree but no QTS - £23.49 per hour
UN1 Lower rate for those with no degree or QTS - £16.25 per hour

Outwood Academy City Fields is looking for an energetic, enthusiastic and inspiring classroom practitioner with a real passion for Mathematics. We offer an exciting opportunity to join a supportive and motivated team as a One to One Tutor. You must possess the skills and determination to make a significant difference to the lives of our students and share our single goal of ‘students first’.
- hold qualified teacher status, or are a qualified HE or FE teacher; or
- are able to demonstrate a track record of effective teaching; or
- are able to demonstrate that you can work with individual pupils to progress their learning; or

We have seven full-time teachers and a dedicated maths one-to-one tutor. The department is a combination of experienced staff and more recent entrants to the profession. The department is fully staffed and this appointment is to enable the school to build capacity in advance of need. Teaching takes place in the department’s seven classrooms. Every classroom has a visualiser and these are used extensively by the team. All classrooms have large interactive television screens.

All staff are guaranteed a minimum of two hours CPD per week and a further comprehensive programme of professional development is provided through our own network of teaching schools. Outwood Academy City Fields is an 11-16 academy based in the friendly cathedral city of Wakefield. The Academy was rated Good by Ofsted in March 2022.
