Recycling Operative

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Recycling Worker to join our team. As a Recycling Worker, you will play a crucial role in the recycling process by sorting and processing materials to ensure they are properly recycled. This is a physically demanding role that requires heavy lifting and mechanical knowledge.

**Duties**:

- Sort and separate recyclable materials such as paper, plastic, glass, and metal
- Operate machinery and equipment to process recyclable materials
- Remove contaminants from recyclable materials
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the recycling facility
- Assist with loading and unloading materials as needed
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in recycling or waste management is preferred but not required
- Mechanical knowledge to operate machinery and equipment
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks for extended periods of time
- Strong attention to detail and ability to differentiate between different types of materials
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
