We have an excellent opportunity for an **Accounts Assistant**, **Temporary Contract** based from The Horder Centre, Crowborough, with hybrid working options available.

**This role is to start immediately, on a temporary contract basis.**

**About the role**:

- Assist with the daily processing of the sales ledger, credit control support, and ensuring that all tasks are completed within month end deadlines
- To assist the Finance Manager in maintaining accurate financial records and meeting deadlines.
- Assist in the completion of month end procedures in conjunction with the Finance Manager.
- Assist with the processing of purchase ledger, ensuring that invoices are dealt with in a timely manner
- Support and respond to customer and supplier queries
- Cash income management
- Assist in the maintenance of financial information and records.
- Undertake general office duties in order to facilitate the smooth and efficient running of the Finance Office.

**About you**:

- Prior experience within an accounting role / environment
- Excellent computing skills - including Microsoft Office
- You will have excellent communication and organisational skills
- A good understanding of accounting systems
- You will be flexible and adaptable to change

**Location**:Crowborough, with hybrid working options
**Contract Type**:Contract - Temporary, Full-Time (flexibility on working pattern)
**Salary**:£11.43 per hour
