**Lab Analyst (Inorganic)**
**Newmarket**
**Salary £19,000 - £21,000 (DOE)**
**Monday to Friday**
We have an exciting opportunity for a Lab Analyst to join one of the largest life science companies in the world. They specialise in analytical and bespoke specialist testing, covering environmental, asbestos and waste. This company is growing rapidly and it'san exciting time to join
**Key Duties (but not limited to)**:

- Preparation of samples.
- Enter results into LIMS in line with client expectations & UKAS standards
- Interpretation of chromatographic data
- Assist in the maintenance of quality control & sample data
- Solve basic problems with laboratory tests & liaise with relevant staff with regards to delays
- To comply with Health & Safety and ISO14001 requirements

**Essential Experience**:

- Science Degree or equivalent
- **Gas chromatography **with **flame-ionization detection **experience
- Minimum of 6 months' experience in a similar role
- Familiar with relevant instrumentation
- Relevant analytical experience
