**SALARY**:£30,000 per annum

**JOB TYPE**:Full-Time, Permanent

**WORKING HOURS**:37.5 Hours per Week, Monday to Friday

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Laboratory Administrator / Lab Customer Service Assistantwho has previous experience within an administrative and/or customer service role, good time management skills and a professional attitude is requiredto join.

As the Laboratory Administrator / Lab Customer Service Assistant you will report to the Laboratory Manager in a role that has a number of responsibilities that require a high level of attention to detail, ability to work to tight deadlines, monitoring SLA’sand liaising with clients.

Working as the Laboratory Administrator / Lab Customer Service Assistant you will be a dependable member of the team who has a professional and supportive attitude, with the ability to handle multiple tasks.

**DUTIES**

Your duties as the Laboratory Administrator / Lab Customer Service Assistant willinclude:

- Maintain current document procedures through regular review as defined in the Quality Management System
- Attend and participate in internal meetings
- Communicate and coordinate with internal departments
- Raising non-conformances, planned deviations, changes, risks and improvements
- Adhere to ISO 9001 and ISO 17025 requirements in testing and quality control procedures
- Ensure commitment to impartiality and confidentiality, integrity and accessibility of information
- Adhering to all policy, procedure, regulatory, customer and standard requirements relating to quality, information security and environmental management systems
- Liaise with laboratory and clients
- Monitor turnaround times in accordance with SLA
- Investigate failings relating to missed TATs, including the completion of NCRs in a timely fashion
- Central point of contact for general enquiries from customers regarding laboratory results or process
- You will be part of the Laboratory Team but have close working relationships across the operations including, Data Administration, Account Management and Quality & Compliance
- You will develop an understanding of how the laboratory works
- Updating customers on any known issues or delays that could affect TAT
- Accurate data entry

**CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS**
- Previous experience within an administrative/customer service role
- Previous experience working within a laboratory setting would be preferred but not essential
- Be able to work on your own initiative with mínimal supervision
- Possess good time management skills
- Able to manage workload
- Excellent organisation skills
- Confident and clear communication skills both verbally and written
- Computer competent (word, excel etc)
- Professional attitude
- Client focused
- Attention to detail
