**About The Role**:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented IT Projects Assistant to join our dynamic team. As an IT Projects Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the successful execution of various IT projects within our organization.
Supported by our experts in Telford and those in the wider AO family, you’ll be part of a mature project delivery community passionate about progression. We’ll look to you to create innovative solutions, challenge the status quo and be the catalyst for change.

**Here's What You Can Expect To Be Doing**:

- Work closely with project stakeholders, including team members, clients, and end-users, to gather and carefully document detailed project requirements.
- Managing and maintaining the CCTV system
- Assist in defining project scope, objectives, and deliverables, making sure they align perfectly with our business goals and objectives
- Be a valuable support to Project Managers and Business Analysts by assisting in various project-related tasks, such as planning, monitoring, and reporting.
- Participate actively in project meetings, providing valuable input to aid decision-making processes.
- Keep the project on track for timely delivery by diligently tracking progress and ensuring that we stay within the set timelines
- Play a crucial role in testing activities, including functional testing, regression testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT), to ensure our project's success and user satisfaction
- Identify and report any software defects promptly to ensure timely resolution.

**A Few Things About You**:

- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience or knowledge in SQL databases, RESTful APIs, and network concepts.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to scope out project requirements effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to organise and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently as well as within a team.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools.
