Location: Brentwood, Essex CM13 3JT
**Salary**: to be discussed based on experience and qualifications. These roles come with bonus, overtime opportunity, on call payments and London weighting.
Salary is paid on a fortnightly basis. You can earn up to £190 per shift with full qualifications.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a wonderful team
NOTE: Please note this salary is 'up to' and includes bonus, London waiting payment is up to £3,000 per annum depending on proximity to the M25, call out payments
Shifts: 7 days on and 3 days off, then another 7 days on and 3 days off, followed by 4 days on and 4 days off. This means you will work only 2 weekends per month
As a Traffic Management Operative at Shift Traffic Events LTD you will receive the below benefits:

Guaranteed hours of work are 48 hours per week depending on location and rota. Hours and shifts include days, evenings, nights and weekends with the option of overtime as required. You will also be required to be on the on-call rota.

The owner of the business has over 27 years of experience and has invested considerably to ensure that Shift Traffic Events is at the forefront of technology and innovation.
We operate from these locations on a 24hr callout basis 365 days a year.
All operatives, supervisors and management are trained to NRSWA unit 2 and 10 as a minimum requirement along with a robust induction to ensure Health and Safety, on-the-job and task-specific training are at a premium. These factors enable us to provide a high-end service that is safe and efficient for all customers.

**Responsibilities**:
The Traffic Management Operative sits at the heart of everything we and you will be responsible for:
- Installing, maintaining and removing temporary traffic management such as deploying cones, signs, frames, and bags and high and other equipment on low-speed roads.
- Undertaking traffic counts, calls to clients and subcontractors, timings and near misses
- Maintenance of temporary traffic lights
- Helping and guiding new trainees
What good looks like:
Traffic Management experience would be great but not essential as training will be provided.
- Unit 2 Traffic Management
- TTMBC/T1 T2
- Physically fit and able to pass a safety critical worker medical,
- You will possess a full driving licence, with no more than 6 points.
- Able to pass a drug and alcohol test
