The standard working hours follow a shift pattern of 7 days on, 3 days off, then another 7 days on, 3 days off, followed by 4 days on, 4 days off, with additional overtime opportunities available.

Key Responsibilities of a 12d or Unit 2 Traffic Management Operative:
The role of the 12d or Unit 2 Traffic Management Operative is central to our operations.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting traffic counts, communicating with clients and subcontractors, and monitoring timings and near misses.
- Maintaining temporary traffic lights.
- Installing, maintaining, and removing temporary traffic management equipment, including cones, signs, frames, sandbags, and other tools.
- Assisting and mentoring new trainees.
Qualifications for a 12d or Unit 2 Traffic Management Operative:
- Minimum qualifications of SLG Unit 2 or M1/M2.
- 12d Lantra qualification is highly desirable but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with Chapter 8 regulations.
- Valid driving license with no more than 6 points; any driving bans must have been expired for at least 5 years.
- Ability to pass a drug and alcohol test, which will be a condition of employment.
- A positive, proactive attitude.
- Flexibility and adaptability in various situations.
- Strong attention to detail.
