The Rigby Unit was opened in August2018 to provide specialist cancer care. The unit also offers supportive treatments to non-cancer patients. Clinical Support Workers working within the unit will gain vast experience working within both clinical and administrative roles and rotate through Reception, Phlebotomy, Outpatient Clinics and our Chemotherapy Treatment Area.
The Clinical Support Worker will undertake high quality, caring and compassionate personal care and associated duties under the direction and supervision of the registered professional and working as part of the multi-disciplinary team.
As a Clinical Support Worker (CSW) you make a valuable and important contribution to the delivery of high-quality healthcare in the Trust. Your role is to support the registered professional in the delivery of safe, effective, compassionate care to patients and their relatives.
