Tester - Manual Testing

We need an experienced Tester with both manual and automated testing.

The overall aim is to build a high-performing test team that you will be a key part of. This means you will need to be open-minded regarding helping and working with the other team members.

As the Tester your responsibilities include a mixture of manual and automation testing. You will coordinate and manage all non-UAT testing activity associated with projects. Testing is in place to ensure that the risks associated with a go-live are minimised, and you will provide and coach the UAT personnel through your work.

Title: Tester (Manual Testing and Automated Testing)

Location: Hybrid office in Milton Keynes / Remote.

Rate: £380 - £425 per day in scope of IR35

Start: ASAP.

Duration: 6 months

ABOUT YOU: It goes without saying you have in-depth and proven experience as a Tester with an interest in the latest Test thinking and the use of new IT Testing technology to enable business transformation and growth. You will need strong, clear communication skills, good problem-solving ability, and the ability to create innovative solutions and think creatively in a complex environment. You are enthusiastic, positive, conscientious and have a flexible attitude.
- In-depth experience in both manual testing/test automation / automated testing.
- Test Methods and Approaches.
- Business and process understanding
- Technology skills - You will need to understand how systems are to be used (often prior to the training material generation) while also using reasonably advanced testing tools.
- Data skills - As the Tester you will need to be able to provision test data.
