Clerk / Typist

The Clerk / Typist will provide effective administrative service to aid the efficient running of the Older Persons Team. As well as administrative tasks the post holder will collect and input statistical information required by WAG.

The Clerk / Typist will be expected to portray a positive image and be able to liaise in a professional manner with clients, colleagues and visitors.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.

The Clerk/Typist will need to liaise in a professional manner with colleagues, visitors and patients and undertake a range of duties to support the smooth running of the department.

The emphasis within the Service will be on team working, sharing of knowledge and experience for the overall benefit of the organisation

Also to ensure that through personal development the postholder should assist in the implementation of Health Board policies and procedures in order to achieve the Board objectives.
