Change Recruitment are pleased to be working with a growing business that supplies component parts to the engineering/manufacturing sector. At this point in their growth they are looking to add a Technical Manager to support the Product Director.
You will be responsible for leading the Technical team to ensure that you provide first class technical product support both internally and externally on all new and existing products. Whether this be by providing internal training resources, offering in depthproduct knowledge to customers or by providing support to the marketing and sales divisions to best promote the key features of products.
Some key duties are as follows:

- Manage, coordinate and oversee Technical team activities and workload.
- Provide assistance/support to the general duties undertaken by Technical team.
- Provide support to Group Product Director of new product introductions and sales of diversification products.
- Support Product Marketing literature and campaigns, taking a lead role on local initiatives whilst supporting Group initiatives.
- Annual Appraisal of departmental staff.
- Talent enhancement management of the Technical team staff members.
- Responsible for the company product training program.
- Management of CI& KPI programs for the technical team.
- Take the lead on website product support (e.g. Assisting on new Products publicised / maintenance aspects of others).
- Coordinate the introduction of new products from existing and new suppliers in terms of technical training & to support promotion thereof.
- Represent the Technical dept at the company monthly management meetings.
