**Course Coordinator**

As a Course Coordinator you’ll be key to delivering our summer courses, playing an essential role in student welfare, leading trips and activities and ensuring the smooth running of the programmes.

**Location**: Winchester. This is a non-residential role—accommodation and travel expenses are not included. Meals will be provided when on duty. You’ll work in a prestigious education location in the centre of Winchester. Participating in our social and cultural programme could include day trips across the UK and local activities in Winchester and the surrounding area.

**Pay and hours**: £530 per week on a fixed term contract.
Monday to Sunday 50 - 60 hours on a shift pattern, 1 day off per week.

**Reports to**:Course Leader or House Parent.

**Main duties and responsibilities**
- Responsible for maintaining an atmosphere of enthusiasm, curiosity and fun on the course.
- Be the front line in ensuring the safety, welfare, enjoyment and discipline of the students.
- Support the delivery of the social and cultural programme, leading activities, day trips and restaurant visits.
- Support the general smooth running of the courses, including making sure students are on time and in the right place for their academic sessions.
- Support the gathering of marketing material such as student testimonials, photographs and videos.

- Great communication skills
- Professional, diligent and organised
- Able to work to a prepared budget
- General competency in IT skills
- Right to work in the UK (we cannot sponsor work visas for this role)

**Interview**

All applicants are required to bring documents to the interview. Details on documents accepted for DBS a check can be found at gov.uk.

**Role assignment**

Students sign up to courses throughout the year, so positions will be filled on a rolling basis. This may mean that we will be unable to confirm the details of vacancies at the interview. If you are made an offer we will contact you separately to offer specific roles, dates, and location.

Where appropriate, they will be validated with the providing referee. We also undertake enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks to ensure all our staff are suitable to work with children.
