PSR are working with a multi-disciplinary construction and civil engineering business who have secured a new large civils project. There are various components to this project ranging from earthworks to rail to highway construction and given the scale, this business is looking to employ a Site Agent to assist them with this project. The right Site Agent will benefit working with the best talent in civil engineering as well as the opportunity to develop their career working on multiple facets of civil engineering.

**The project the Site Agent will be involved in**:
This project is a large-scale civil engineering project incorporating several disciplines of infrastructure. The role of the Site Agent is to manage the construction varying from earthworks to highways to rail and everything inbetween. You will be required to manage a section of this large scheme, previous experience in civil engineering is massively advantageous.

**Responsibilities of the Site Agent**:

- Motivate team and manage performance; monitor the competency of team members and undertake training/ coaching as appropriate Health Safety & Environmental
- Reviewing Method Statements and Risk Assessments and making improvements as appropriate
- Production and implementation of Permits to Work, specifically Confined Space Permits and Hot Works Permits
- Implements systems and processes to support construction of works
- Guides & coaches subordinates in technical requirements and techniques of setting out
- Guides and coaches subordinates in resolution of construction issues, drawing on experience and accepted
- Carries out Site Audits to check works and documentation compliance

**The Site Agent will be able to**:

- Able to clearly communicate the requirements of a safe system of work to ensure that these are followed accurately. Suggests and implements improvements to systems
- Understands method statements and risk assessments, able to develop new and improved safe systems of work
- A full understanding of technical requirements and techniques of setting out and coaching of team members
- Possesses strong communication skills with good interpersonal and influencing skills
- Capable of taking ownership of tasks and communicating outcomes with clarity
- Able to work on own initiative and seek out opportunities in line with level of responsibility
- Holds a current driving license and CSCS Card. SSSTS or SMSTS qualified
- Solution orientated approach to issue resolution
