**About the Opportunity**

Your primary role is to achieve strategic growth by developing and implementing effective solutions, through business development and key account up-selling for our professional technical services business unit.
As relationships sit at the heart of your approach; you will already utilise collaborative relationship standard methodologies to generate the optimal team from within the organization and external partners. You also act as the “voice of the customer”, understanding clients’ strategic intent and priorities, ultimately aligning our approach to ensure skills, resources and solutions are available to satisfy their future needs.
With an elevated eyeline across our full client portfolio, you’ll enjoy working in an opportunity-rich environment that includes existing lifetime frameworks that keep legacy stations generating or defueling safely and successfully and new and developing positions associated with emerging technologies, such as small modular reactors. All of these will ensure order pipeline growth.
One of your key opportunities is the scale of the business and number of interfaces, requiring an ability to keep many plates spinning, some faster than others, and driving the strategy at pace to secure results. You’ll be intimately involved in implementation, taking a proactive part in realizing our strategy in practice. In this, you’ll work closely multiple internal stakeholders including operational directors and managers as well as the senior management team.
And with our clients and teams in multiple locations, predominantly in the UK (some overseas), your preference for in-person engagement means travel will already be factored into your work life.
**What’s on offer?**
As the Operational Sales Director for our successful £50 million Engineering & Technical Solutions, reporting to the Group Director, you’ll be playing a critical role in the lead team to deliver results and successes for our clients that, in turn, deliver the same for ourselves.
Our remit is to provide engineering and technical solutions across the full nuclear generation lifecycle up to decommissioning.
You’ll have scope to put your mark on how we take our respected and differentiated business forward, taking us from great to even greater. You won’t be starting from scratch; you’ll be building and improving on our existing strategies and relationships, shaping our future in this exciting phase in the nuclear industry.
