Key responsibilities
- Crafting and serving outstanding coffee to consistently high standards.
- Driving standards and developing the coffee offering.
- Leading, training and mentoring other baristas.
- Assisting the manager with the day-to-day running of the cafe and deli.
- Looking after guests with attentive service and warm hospitality.
- Taking orders, serving to table, and processing transactions.
- Maximising and initiating opportunities for sales.
- Maintenance and care of the coffee equipment.
- Health and safety compliance, and general housekeeping.
- Passionate about speciality coffee, with a natural flair for hospitality.
- Warm and welcoming, with a proven talent for attentive service.
- Self-motivated, pro-active, and quality driven.
- Positive and professional, with a strong work ethic.
- Calm, efficient, and customer focused.
- A team player, with a flexible and ‘can do’ attitude.
- Sound working knowledge of hygiene, health, and safety procedures.
- Available to work five days out of seven, including weekends.
