**Business Support & Operations Manager**

This newly created opportunity has arisen for a Business Support & Operations Manager to join our talented and innovative team, to provide operational support, guidance, and leadership across our network.

You will be instrumental in driving forwards the operational effectiveness of the practice through this pro-active role in the Practice Management Committee.

As Business Support & Operations Manager you will be at the heart of the support network, with dedicated and diligent professionals passionate about providing the best administration and office support to both clients and team members.

We are a firm of accountants & business advisers, who operate from five offices in the Midlands and have 32 Partners and Directors and over 200 staff.

**KeyResponsibilities as Business Support & Operations Manager**:

- To be a proactive member of our Practice Management Committee to support operational effectiveness across the business.
- To work with the IT Director and IT Technician(s) as required in respect of IT operations which relate to the administrative functions of the firm.
- To manage the Business Support Team with guidance and leadership across the firm
- Manage and conduct team appraisals and objective reviews.
- Ensures that office administration expenditure is necessary and within approved guidelines / budget.
- Advise on and proactively manage health and safety across the firm, ensuring that appropriate measures, policies and risk assessments are in place.
- Liaison with Landlords, contractors and suppliers; working with management to improve the efficiency of the office as a whole.
- Take the lead on office related projects (ie space management and office improvements and moves).

**Personal Attributes**:

- CMI or ILM Management Qualification Level 7 preferable
- To have an excellent understanding of Microsoft Word and a good understanding and familiarity with other Microsoft software, including Excel and PowerPoint.
- To have an excellent understanding of Outlook and any other packages which are relevant to the role
- Be a proactive and forward-thinking individual who has a genuine passion for operational effectiveness.
- Be confident with software and systems operated in order to support and develop team (e.g. CCH Central, Docusign).
