**About the role**:
The role would involve checking the quality of products within the manufacturing process, ensuring compliance with processes at all times. This role will be a full-time role on, 40 hours per week Monday-Friday and based in Blackburn.

The Quality Controller organises inspections according to business standards. It is their job to ensure that a quality product is delivered for consumers. Their duties and responsibilities include:

- Maintaining and calibrating measuring equipment to various testing standards
- Questioning the nature of defects while providing future solutions
- Alerting the Quality Assurance department of ongoing problems and delivering resolutions
- Inspecting raw materials to ensure consistency and integrity
- Filling out and maintaining proper paperwork
- Comparing finished products to original patents

**Skills and experience**:

- Building strong working relationships with all departments across the business to engender a quality culture
- Complying with all necessary standard operating procedures and systems to ensure the effective monitoring of quality standards
- Supporting the investigation of root causes of NCRs and assisting with the implementation of corrective and preventative actions to reduce these events
- Maintaining an overall knowledge of the current status of compliance across the site with rules and standards
- Assisting with the maintenance of quality standards and supporting departmental projects
- Providing administrative support to the Quality department and maintaining and continuously improving quality standards and systems
- Any other relevant duties to support the Quality Management team
- Ability to plan workload and follow processes
- Strong administrative skills and computer literate
- Resilient and able to use own initiative to solve problems
- Good communication skills
