A respected market leader within the Building products sector, who have experienced rapid growth over the last 10 years are looking to strengthen their team with the key recruitment of an additional Key Account Manager.

**About the role**

You will join the UK Commercial Team, the Doors Key Account Manager is a dedicated position, primarily focusing on the supply of Hygienic encapsulated Doorsets.

Working collaboratively with the Specification, Main Contractor, Business Development and KAM Teams. This customer-facing role is directly aligned with the core strategies of the business.

**Day to Day Duties**

To achieve and grow profitable business related to the specification and supply of encapsulated hygienic Doorsets within the relevant sectors, in line with agreed target levels, as agreed with Head of Commercial and defined in Key Account Plans.

To actively contribute to the development and subsequent implementation of strategic and tactical initiatives across the Companies value added service programme.

To ensure that the UK strategic plan is successfully embedded, reviewed and achieved, hence supporting the relevant market segments in maximising sales, profitability, financial health and growth

To identify, manage and drive incremental volume sales across the product range.

**About the Individual**
- A minimum of 3-6 years of experience in a similar specification role preferably within the Architectural Ironmongery or Door sector.
- Must understand the 'cradle to the grave’ process of specification sales.
- Preferably with a strong sales and technical oriented background.
- Experience with all relevant software packages.
- Extensive experience in all aspects of developing and maintaining sales and marketing strategies to meet organizational objectives.
- Strong understanding of specification customers along with the market dynamics and requirements.
- This is a home-based role but with a willingness to travel and work independently or with other members the sales team.
