The business is targeted to more than double revenue over the next couple of years. As Financial Accountant you would play a pivotal role in this working closely with both the FC and FD to show where finance can really add value.
The Role
- Preparation of month-end, period-end and year-end reporting packs for Group.
- Work as a key member of the team that delivers financial statements and interim reports ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards.
- Deliver year-end financial accounting process and liaise with external auditors.
- Stay up to date with business developments and the implementation of new accounting standards and associated business impacts.
- Support the FC and FD on ad-hoc projects.
- Support the wider finance function including more junior members of the team to ensure tasks are completed on time to deadline.
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified/Finalist.
- 3 years+ experience of working in a Financial Accounting Function or Audit/Accounts prep in Practice.
- Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines.
- Ability to build businesses relationships quickly and effectively to deliver results.
- A collaborator that can also work just as successfully as an individual.
