Electro Mechanical Assembly Worker

**We are currently recruiting for an Electro Mechanical Assembly Worker for our busy client based in Berkhamsted. Permanent Contract. ASAP Start date available**

**Working Hours**:40 hours per week, office hours, Monday to Friday. As of January, our client will be trialling a 4 day working week

**Salary**:£24,000-£27,000 per annum

**The Role**:

- Assemble lighting products
- Liaise with the production supervisor and report any imminent stock shortages
- Comply with company standards and keep to customer specifications
- Self-inspect your own work and others
- Assist with the dispatch of orders and packaging
- Assist with wall to wall stock checks & cycle counts
- Inform the workshop manager of any damaged or lost tools or equipment
- Maintain clean & organised working environment
- Keep in line with company health and safety standards
- Other basic day-to-day duties, such as driving the company van to collect supplies or deliver finished goods

**Requirements of the Role**:

- High level of spoken & written English
- Excellent attention to detail
- Good level of manual dexterity
- Ability to work using own initiative, both independently as well as in a team
- A basic understanding of lighting / wiring
- Experience stripping and tinning wires, assembling cable glands using various methods along with general electromechanical assembly
- Must have a flexible approach to work
- Full, clean driving licence
- Must live within a commutable distance to Berkhamsted
