**Overview**

Reporting to the Small works supervisor, you will be responsible for administration of fire and security small works projects.

You will be required to work closely with the small works department to ensure delivery of various projects, this will involve using our web based job portal to ordering equipment and issuing purchase orders to invoice the job sheets upon completion.

**Duties will include (but not limited to)**:

- Processing of small works jobs from start to finish.
- Ordering of stock for quoted works, keeping in my mind end of month and work start dates.
- Purchase order creating and issuing - stock and subcontractors.
- Liaison with engineers and sub-contractors to provide purchase orders, stock, paperwork etc.
- Log movements of engineers/sub-contractors on diary.
- Continually review and action overdue/outstanding works.
- Chase purchase orders.
- Close out and invoice all completed works.
- Monitor monthly invoice figures.
- Answer telephone enquiries.

**Key Skills**:

- Excellent organisational skills.
- Good Microsoft experience (word, excel).
- Clear precise communicator.
- Capable of multitasking.
- Open to learning new skills/practices.
- A good general background within administration.
- Knowledge of fire & security not essential.

**Remuneration**:
**Salary**: £18,525 -21,034K Basic

Monthly bonus scheme of up to £150 / month based on department targets (possible £1,800 additional annual in total)

Review: Performance review at 6 months.

Hours of Work: 9.00am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday, with a half hour for lunch.

**Training**:
Training on all specific and technical aspects of the position will be provided

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £21,034.00 per year
