**Job Overview**

Do you thrive on analysing data to uncover meaningful insights? Are you passionate about the thriving global coffee industry? As a Research Executive at Allegra World Coffee Portal, you'll feed your curiosity each day by immersing yourself in the dynamic world of coffee.

Our fast-paced, collaborative team loves a good coffee talk almost as much as the perfect macchiato. If you enjoy research and telling insightful data stories excites you, join our crew of inspired, positive change-makers.

In this role, you'll manage multiple research projects simultaneously, meeting tight deadlines to produce compelling reports. You'll identify and dig into new coffee brands, collecting key data and insights. From sizing up markets, to supplier analysis, to distributing surveys and performing interviews, no two days will look the same. The only constant is your drive to pursue questions, analyse findings, and draw out meaningful implications. Your work will empower coffee industry players to make better decisions through a lens into emerging opportunities.

**Research Activities**
- Conduct primary and secondary research on coffee markets across North America, Europe, East Asia, and the Middle East following World Coffee Portal’s research framework.
- Update and manage a database of coffee industry contacts.
- Draw insights from research data to identify implications and trends.
- Support client requirements to ensure they receive maximum value from WCP data and reports.

**Analysis & Reporting**
- Contribute to data analysis efforts for research reports.
- Participate in report production including writing, reviewing, editing, and proofreading.

**Project Management**
- Manage multiple research projects simultaneously and meet all key deliverable deadlines.
- Continuously prioritize and adjust schedules to meet tight timelines.

**Industry Engagement**
- Attend relevant coffee events and conferences to stay abreast of latest industry developments.
- Develop and nurture relationships with a diverse set of coffee industry players.

**Compliance**
- Ensure research activities adhere to GDPR, privacy laws and ethical guidelines.
- Uphold highest integrity and quality standards for all research methods and reporting.

**Continuous Development**
- Build coffee industry expertise including market dynamics, key brands, consumer behaviours through continuous learning.

**Personal Specification**
- Experience within market research or commercial environment
- Passion for coffee, consumer trends and research processes
- Excellent communication (verbal & written) skills and confident and engaging telephone manner
- Strong commercial awareness
- Entrepreneurial spirit and innovative thinker
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to understand and interpret data
- Diligent, organised and detail orientated team player
- Capable of working on multiple projects of a time sensitive nature

**Job Type**:Full-time

**Salary**:£28,000 to£30,000 per year

**Schedule**: Monday to Friday 8.30am - 5.00pm (30 mins lunch)

**Location**:Office / Remote mix

**Education**: Bachelor's degree or higher
