**About the role**

As a Research Executive you’ll develop and build on your existing knowledge, to effectively and efficiently manage the day to day running of our projects. Depending on the size of the project, this may include managing and or supporting more junior members of the team and liaising with your project lead.

As for the type of projects you’ll be working on, we work with a huge variety of clients in the B2B technology sector from IT / Cyber security, HR and Fintech, e-Commerce and Retail to Advertising and Marketing.

We are an independent research agency and pride ourselves in treating each of our client’s research projects as our own. Our flexible working nature means we are able to provide a bespoke offering (method agnostic), no one project is the same and we are always open to new ways of approaching them - qualitative, quantitative, mixed methods or something else This means you will have the opportunity to work on a wide variety of projects from helping clients create news worthy campaigns, to supporting them with the launch of a new product or trying to better connect them with their target audience.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

- Research scoping: Opportunity to get involved in the sales process, contributing ideas to our recommend project approach and creating the first draft of a project quote.
- Research design: Working together with the team to create the first draft of questionnaires and discussion guides from scratch (for review by the project lead), and / or giving advice on client-produced questionnaires / discussion guides to ensure a successful outcome of the research
- Data gathering:

- Programming surveys using our survey scripting software
- Managing fieldwork in-house, ensuring we deliver on time and within budget
- Trouble shooting challenges on projects, bringing solutions on ways to resolve and for us to learn from as a wider team moving forwards
- Where required, liaising with suppliers ensuring they deliver on time and to our standards, while continuing to develop good relationships
- Data analysis:

- Creating and executing an analysis plan collaboratively with the project team
- Due to our ‘no one size fits all’ approach, analysis may include personas, brand maps, and other statistical techniques (which you will have the opportunity to learn and develop through internal and external training).
- Reporting and presenting:

- Following analysis, working with the team to create a narrative led, visually creative summary of the research in Microsoft PPT
- Supporting the project lead present the findings of the research either in person or via Microsoft Teams
- Ensuring the core of our work - our data - is of high quality and all client-facing documents are error free
